Graphic Communications
What is Graphic Communications?
The Graphic Communications program trains students in all aspects of the printing industry. Students develop the creative and technical abilities to turn ideas into finished products, receiving instruction in both the graphic design studio and the print shop environments. Students are taught safety, pre-press and design using the Adobe Creative Cloud Software, operation and maintenance of a variety of Graphic Communications equipment, including the offset and digital printing processes, dye-sublimation, screen printing, embroidery, binding and finishing operations.
Our Graphic Communication program is competency-based curriculum that insures a solid foundation for our graduates. Through diversity of printing processes our students develop an understanding of the wide variety of applications the graphics industry provides. The Graphic Communications staff takes great pride in their caring and effort to provide each student with individual attention and considers each student’s individual learning style in the presentation of shop lessons.
